Connor is very afraid of the vaccuum. Everytime I get ready to vaccuum he gets on the couch and watches me the entire time. This weekend I was able to get him to push the vaccuum. I tried to help him but he insisted on doing it all by himself.

Big Boy Haircut!

This past weekend while Cliff was at basketball practice I became very brave. I took Connor to get a haircut with Jackson in tow. Connor patiently waited and everytime one of the stylist would call a kids name he would say "is it my turn". When it was his turn he wanted no part of sitting in the chair or having the cape drapped around his shoulders. As soon as the stylist gave him a sucker and turned on a movie for him he was very happy. I left the place with a child covered in hair, sticky faced, and now looking another year older.

We are having warm weather here and Connor had no shorts to wear. I looked through his old shorts only to find out what he wore last year were 24 months or 2T. I went shopping to buy him some new shorts and I came home with 4T...my oh, my, has this boy grown. I know I should get used to it, he is getting so big...FAST!

Case Of The Mondays!

New Driver In Town!

Uh, Oh, look out there is a new driver in town. Connor now has a driver just like Olivia! Jackson has been a busy boy lately. Last Friday (February 4) Jackson went to the Dr. as he had thrush and a cold but his ears were clear. He is now on the mend and he is starting to feel better.

Last Monday (February 7), I found out that Jackson's first tooth is coming in. It is on the bottom right, he has been chewing on everything. Jackson is growing so fast that I think he may start crawling soon. When he was on the floor this weekend he would lift his whole body off the floor. He looked like he was getting ready to do a push up or as Aunt Andrea said he was doing the plank yoga pose.

For those of you that don't know Jackson has been sleeping in his bassinet in our bedroom because of all of his colds and coughing that he's had. This weekend he made the move to his bedroom! Did you hear that, HIS BEDROOM, now I won't get made fun of anymore for keeping a 6 1/2 month old baby in a bassinet. He slept great in there all weekend long. Now our bedroom has so much more room without the bassinet.

A Little Tummy Time!

Jackson is loving tummy time. He is getting very strong he now rolls from front to back and back to front. He rolls all around on the floor. When on his tummy he tries to get up on his knees. I feel as though he might crawl sooner than Connor did. He doesn't like to be in one place for long.

Nap Time.

This past weekend Connor helped Jackson take a nap in Jackson's big boy bed. When we put Jackson in his bed Connor just had to get in there with him. It was too cute! Cliff and I stepped outside of the room, listened from the door and we heard all the little boy laughter...music to our ears. Connor loves his little brother and Jackson loves his big brother. They are so good to each other and I am enjoying every moment as I know it won't last forever.
