Happy 6th Birthday Connor!
Today is a big day. Connor turned 6 and it's his first day of kindergarten at Cline Elementary. He is super excited that he gets to ride a big yellow bus to an from school. Here's to hoping he doesn't talk too much today at school.
Today is Cliff's first day of school at his new school. He will teach sophomore students world history. We are so proud that he is now the head Basketball coach at Brazoswood High School. Way to go Coach Owens! I wish your boys good luck with the hard but yet rewarding practices to come.

Goodbye My Friend!
It is with great sadness that today we had to say goodbye to our dear friend, family member, and companion Rusty. We will miss you! We cherish the 11 years we had together.
In talking with Jackson I told him how sick Rusty was and that he wouldn't be with us for much longer and Jackson looked at me and said "mommy don't worry...God will take care of him, he will be in Heaven." That was hard to hear from a 3 year old.
