Blahhh...Tis The Season

Well, it's official Jackson is sick! Yesterday I got a call from his Daycare notifying me that Jackson had a fever of 101.8. We were lucky enough to get a Dr. appointment and guess what? Jackson is following in his big brothers footsteps, Jackson has a double ear infection. Today he is spending the day with his Gran and I hope he is not giving her too much trouble. Soon he will be on the mend as we were given some good medictions. I hope that everyone else is staying well during this time of year.

Jackson Troy Owens: 4 months

Well HELLO!!! On Wednesday, November 24, Jackson went to his 4 month check-up. He got a good check up and of course he is a BIG boy.

Jackson: 4 months

Length - 26 inches (89th percentile)

Weight- 15 lbs 12.5 oz (75th percentile)

Sorry for the lack of posts my evening time is few and far between. Cliff's basketball games have started and so have the late nights and busy weekends.

Back To The Grind

Well, tomorrow it's back to the grind for me. Today is officially the last day of my maternity leave and it makes me kind of sad with some mixed emotions. For some reason, it's more difficult for me to have to go back to work this time. Jackson too will go to school tomorrow for the first time. We have been asking Connor if Jackson can go to school with him and he keeps saying no. Soon we will all be used to our new routine. So again, posts may be few and far between for a little while.

2 Month And 2 Year Check Up

On Friday, September 24 the boys went to the doctor's for their check ups. Jackson had three shots and had to drink a liquid. Connor had two shots. Both boys did well with the shots. It's official, the doctor said that Connor is the size of a 3 year old. He's a big boy and you really can tell when he is next to all of his classmates at school. After the doctor's visit Connor got a happy meal from McDonald's.

Length - 23.5 inches (75.76th percentile)

Weight - 11 lbs 13.5oz (58.58th percentile)

Connor's Stats: (2 years)

Length - 37.25 inches (96.69th percentile)

Weight - 31 lbs (80.36th percentile)

Potty Training 101

Connor is currently potty training at school. At school they knew that he was ready to start as he would ask to sit on the potty when the other kids did. At home he always asks to sit on the potty, "Mommeee, peepee potty, Mommeee, peepee potty!". He then sits on the potty and this is what you see....

...Yes, Connor is reading Sports Magazines while sitting on the potty. This was not a set up for a picture. He was sitting there and pointed to the stack of magazines on the floor and he had to have the one with the football helmet on the cover. He is a true boy as he will sit on the potty for 10-20 minutes at a time and refuses to get down.
