Let's Get Caught Up!

Well, the past couple of weeks have been very busy. Nana and Papa came to visit and we had a lot of fun. Connor was still a little under the weather during their visit. During Nana and Papa's visit Connor went to the doctor's for a check up and his ear infection was still not gone. Since then we went to the doctor's this past week for an unexpected visit. His daycare called me last week, his antibiotic created an infection in his mouth and he was terribly stuffy. Previously the doctor was not able to give Connor a decongestant. However, during this visit Connor weighed in at 20lbs, which means he can have a decongestant. Boy, oh, boy, this kid is a mess. The doctor put him on two more medicines. And, NOW, finally, he is getting better.

Once again, Connor is an eating machine....YEAHHH.

Connor has some big news...drum roll, please...Connor has two teeth. He has two teeth on the bottom. He is protective of his teeth, since we have been giving him medicine for about a month he doesn't like to open his mouth. He doesn't know when we might be trying to sneak some of the medicine down.

This past weekend he was a happy baby and he is back to his old self. Thank goodness and hopefully we will be able to get his immunizations this week.

Kiss Me

Kiss me, I'm Irish!! Happy St. Patrick's day to all. Connor can now sit up, and he only seems to tip over when he gets really excited or tired. He still has no teeth cutting through but I know they are on the way. This past weekend he was on the floor on his tummy and he got up on his knees. Look out Olivia, Connor will soon be on his way. Hope you all have a wonderful day.

What?

Are You Sure!

6 Month Check-Up

Yesterday Connor had his 6 month check up. He was supposed to get some shots but, he still hasn't gotten over his cold 100%. The doctor re-checked him and said that he is 75% better. His cough hasn't gone away and he still has an ear infection. Poor baby, he has been really happy too so it is not bothering him too much. She gave him some more medicine and hopefully this will get rid of it. We will go back in two weeks to get re-checked and hopefully get his immunizations.

Connor's report from the Dr: (6 month stats)
Height: 27 3/4" (84th percentile)
Weight: 19.6 lbs (77th percentile)
Head: 18 1/8" (95th percentile)

I Hope Y'all Slept Well, I Sure Did.

Back to the Grind.

Connor has been very busy since being back to school. He has been playing with his new friends. Ms. George has been telling me that she is working on getting Connor to reach out to be held and she is trying to teach him to crawl. Boy, oh, boy, we will all be busy once he starts to be on the move.

He now loves to turn over from his back to his belly. In the middle of the night he starts to cry and he tries to fool us by thinking that he can't turn back over onto his back...but he really can. I found that out when I asked his teacher. He is a sneaky little boy.
